Who doesn’t love a remodel that takes advantage of the floorplan more? This kitchen remodel project previously had minimal countertop space, cabinet storage, and island seating. Pictured below. Continue reading to learn about the smart changes Marquis made and after pictures.

Our talented project manager, Erik Kobielnik, was able to redesign this layout more to fit the homeowners desires and functions. Kobielnik started with adding additional countertop space for cooking to the island, which also allowed for bar top seating. By moving appliances around a little bit, Kobielnik was also able to add countertop space on the back wall. By creating a dimensional single wall of cabinetry, it added character and warmth, which the space lacked previously. Then to top it all off, he suggested turning the prior coffee bar into a pantry and moving the coffee station around the corner as there was extra space at the bottom of the stairs.
