Collection: Classico Finish: Designer White Kitchen By Marquis Fine Cabinetry

Marquis is in love with the harmony between these two dark and light finishes, which are carried throughout the coastal design for cohesion. The majority was kept traditional with Marquis’ Classico Collection, shaker style. The remainder of floating shelves and islands were kept modern with Marquis’ Milano Collection. Read more below to see why these these contrasting styles work seamlessly in this new waterfront home in 30A.

Kitchen Design

The soft contrasting colors between the two cabinetry finishes blend beautifully together with the color of the wood-like tile flooring. The small amount of warmth in “Designer White” shaker cabinetry pulls out the lightest colors in the flooring. Milano’s “Chrysler” pulls out the darkest graining. Leslie Floyd from Emerald Coast Building Contractors did a great job picking out the finishes for this newly constructed beach home in Miramar Beach. Marquis’s project manager kept the shaker style cabinetry modern with the clean lines of the upper cabinetry. Since the ceilings are so tall, a nice custom “x” profile with a glass inlay with cabinet lighting completes the kitchen coastal design.

Wet Bar #1 Design

Each space in this home is it’s own unique room. However, everything beautifully compliments the other as the finishes and colors were consistent throughout. This wet bar, located on the main floor next to the kitchen and living room, still featured the two finishes in the kitchen. The countertops stayed the same to carry the coastal design concept from the kitchen into the living room area. The Cambria “Portrush” from Stone Exclusive looks beautiful with the soft, frosty blue walls.

Wet Bar #2 Design

Now onto the second wet bar! Since this wet bar is located in a different room in the house, the finishes were changed. Instead of white shaker style cabinets, Milano was used throughout. The coastal design concept remains bright and open with the white countertops from Cambria in “Harrogate”. The open floating shelves were done in Milano’s “Chrysler”. With a full sized beverage cooler and ice maker – this space was made for entertaining!

Laundry Room Coastal Design

Who doesn’t love a fresh and fun laundry room? The fresh white shaker, frosty blue walls and fun accent tile wall livens up this large laundry room. The design is completed with ample amount of storage, countertop space for folding and even a chrome rod for hanging clothes. Wayne Moss Inc. from Flooring Elegance did a beautiful job installing this entire accent wall. Round of applause to design coordinator, Leslie Stoltz Floyd, for this tile selection!

In conclusion, this project is a beautiful example of the harmony between dark and light and modern and shaker to create a relaxing coastal design. These finishes and collections work together and have created a coastal, tranquil, and relaxing beach house. Contact us today to see what we can do for you!
