Explore the custom cabinet selections chosen for this beautiful kitchen renovation.

Originally this kitchen was smaller due to the lay out. For this remodel, our project manager recommended extending built-in cabinets into the dining room. This offers extra storage while adding a beautiful china cupboard and buffet in the dining area. This open floor plan also helps to connect the two areas by flowing into one another. The LED toe-kick lighting under the floating dining room built-ins offer a nice, soft illumination.

Kitchen

We enjoyed this kitchen remodel project because we personally knew the owner of this house. Originally, the floor plan was very closed off with the outer island curving into the kitchen, cutting off the flow. Our project manager recommended changing the shape of the island to open the kitchen up to flow naturally into the dining room. This also displays the premium waterfall edge on the island.

Decorative Nooks & Shelving

Since the back wall of the kitchen is decorated with Destin custom cabinets, our project manager wanted to add in functional, yet decorative, floating shelves in the plan. Before, they were cupboards with dead corners that weren’t being utilized very well. Now they can beautifully display decorative glass pieces or tableware. We also didn’t forget the nook on the petite back wall. We replaced the cabinet box to match the rest of our Classico collection cabinets in the finish “Designer White”.

Custom Dining Room Built-In

Since the island was changed, storage was lost. Our project manager suggested building a custom dining room for built-in extra storage. Not only did this allow for additional storage, it also tied the dining room and kitchen together. Since the formal dining room is an intimate space, toe-kick LED and under cabinet lighting was added. This remodeled kitchen will now be the place for memorable family gatherings.
