November 16 through December 21, 2020 – This was a hard year for all. Marquis Fine Cabinetry wanted to find a small way to give back to our resilient community with a toy drive.

This holiday season, Marquis Fine Cabinetry wanted to partner up with a local children’s shelter to help provide them with an amazing holiday. Our goal was to host a toy drive for an enjoyable holiday season for children who have been removed from an unsafe environment. Their wish list included items like: LOL, Lego’s, Rainbow Surprise, Board/Card Games, Blind Boxes, Minecraft, Star Wards, Pokemon, Roblox, Funko Pops, Peppa Pig, Couldees, Kitten Catfe, and Jurassic World.
Partnership
Children in Crisis, Inc. was chosen as they are an emergency shelter that provides homes to keep brothers and sisters in foster care together. They give a home to the abused, neglected, and abandoned children of our community. When we contacted them early November, they mentioned no one has reached out for a toy drive yet – we knew we had to help out!

Drop Off Location Partners
Shortly after the event took off to our local community, a local apartment complex got ahold of us to add additional drop off locations. This was such a blessing as we could reach more people throughout the area. Marquis wants to thank the 3 apartment buildings that also collected toys for Children in Crisis. We would also like to give a huge thank you to Rosewood Realty who provided us with a $500 check to go shopping. This was amazing! Below you’ll see how many toys were graciously donated to Children in Crisis, Inc.

Drop Off
Dropping off the toys was such a great moment to be a part of. The entire staff greeted us and helped us carry in our 2 car loads of toys! The staff was shocked by how much we were able to collect throughout the community just within a couple weeks. We look forward to our next toy drive in 2021!

Future Community Outreach
